FAQs

WE HAVE THE ANSWERS

Please have a look at my frequently asked questions and their comprehensive answers provided below. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch.  We are always here to help.

WHAT IS STORY SENSORY?

Story sensory supports brain development in children through cognitive growth, while encouraging fine and gross motor skills. The exploration of the child's senses, develops and aids in enhancing memories and promotes social interactions. This form of play will lay a foundation for learning later in life.

WILL MY BABY REALLY BENEFIT FROM STORY SENSORY CLASSES?

Yes, without a doubt.

Babies who are exposed to multi-sensory stimulation through toys and activities will develop more awareness and alertness which is great news for your journey to reaching those exciting milestones. It is said that stimulating baby’s five senses sends signals to the brain that strengthen the neural processes promoting cognitive, social and emotional benefits.

WHAT AGE CAN MY BABY JOIN A CLASS?

Babies can benefit from baby sensory at the newborn stage. You are more that welcome to join with your baby at any age between 0-18 months.

WHERE CAN I FIND A LITTLE CHICKS CLASS?

The classes are held in community centres, church halls and dance studios, for full detail on all of our locations, please see the bookings page.

WILL THERE BE PARKING AVAILABLE?

HOW LONG IS EACH CLASS?

Most venues that we have selected do have car parks, however if this is not the case, we will try to highlight areas to park on the bookings page.

Each class with run for 45 minutes as this is the optimal length for concentration in your little ones.

CAN WE JOIN AT ANY POINT?

ARE PARENTS EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CLASSES?

So long as there is space in the group, you are more than welcome to join at any point in the term.

Little Chick classes are a fun and friendly environment and a great way to spend some quality time with your baby. Parents will be expected to guide their baby through the sensory toys in the tubs provided with the instruction from the class leader, however, singing along with the songs is optional (but always encouraged, even if you can't sing!)

WHAT IF MY BABY NEEDS FEEDING OR CHANGING DURING THE CLASS?

Babies are unpredictable, if your little one needs a feed or a change that is absolutely fine!

You can take the classes at your own pace and work the class around your babies needs.

WHY ARE THERE NO CLASSES IN MY AREA?

Little Chicks is a franchise business, meaning that we may not have someone in your area that is running classes.

If this is something that you wish to enquire about and learn more about joining our franchise, please do get in contact and we can send you our franchise information packet.
